Note: in the fifth paragraph on the first page, the car is identified as a GT350. Ring-Free originally planned to enter 2 GT350s in the
1967 Daytona Continental 24 Hour. One for Ray Cuomo and Paul Richards and the other for Anita Taylor-Matthews, Smokey Drolet
and Janet Guthrie. Shelby American had no GT350s available, just Car #6 of the original 16 1966 Shelby Notchback Mustangs
which was assigned to Ray and Paul.
The girls drove a Mustang which was a street car only weeks before. It was prepared by Frank Dominnani and driven down to Daytona
for the race. They finished the car 5th In Class and 20th Overall despite spending 40 minutes in the pits with an electrical problem.
